Award for Best Oral Presentation – Prize Prof. Doutor Amândio Sampaio Tavares
Award for Best Poster Presentation – Prize Prof. Doutor Luís Archer
Abstract Submission
Please submit your abstract as a Microsoft Word document (.docx), following the layout and structure of the template: Abstract template.
Some notes on the abstract structure:
The abstract should be written in English and the main text has a maximum limit of 300 words. Abstract (including title, authors and references) can not to exceed one A4 size page, with all margins 2.0 cm. The name of the presenting author should be underlined and his/her email should be indicated.
Each participant may submit more than one abstract.
Instructions for abstract submission:
Abstract submission will be performed in the same system previously used from the registration on the III International Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Genetics. Upon submission, you need to select one of the following areas: 1.Animal Genetics; 2. Plant Genetics; 3. Microbial Genetics; 4. Biomedical Genetics; 5. Evolutionary Genetics or 6. Other.
1. Login at https://sge.uevora.pt.
2. Select the option “Submit abstract” in the right lateral panel corresponding to the Registration on the III International Meeting of the Portuguese Society of Genetics.
3. Upload the abstract file (a Word document).
After submission, the abstract status will be “under consideration”, it will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and, later on, you will get a notification about your presentation mode.
